This Privacy Policy explains how GreenBar Systems ("we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with this website, greenbarsystems.com, and our desktop finance tools (such as Clearing and the other tools in the GreenBar suite).

GreenBar tools are built to keep your financial data on your own computer. By default, the tools process your data locally and do not send it to us. We do not operate servers that receive, store, or analyze the bank files, ledgers, or other financial records you work with in the tools, unless you explicitly enable an optional cloud feature.

The limited information we actually receive falls into these categories:

• Waitlist sign-ups. When you join a product waitlist, we collect the email address you submit and, if you provide it, your name. We use this only to notify you about the specific tool you signed up for.
• Support correspondence. If you email support@greenbarsystems.com, we receive your message, your email address, and anything you choose to attach. We use this only to respond to you.
• Basic website logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard technical request data (such as IP address, browser type, and the pages requested) to serve the site and protect it from abuse.

For the avoidance of doubt, we do not:

• Require an account to browse the site or to run the desktop tools.
• Receive the financial data you process inside the tools, by default.
• Sell, rent, or share your personal information for valuable consideration.
• Use advertising networks or sell your data to advertisers.

We use the limited information above only to:

• Notify you about a tool you joined the waitlist for.
• Respond to your support requests.
• Operate, secure, and improve the website.
• Comply with legal obligations.

This site does not use advertising cookies or third-party behavioral tracking. If we ever introduce privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics, we will update this Policy and describe what is measured.

We use a small number of providers to operate the website and communications — for example, our hosting and email providers. They process information only as needed to provide their service to us and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

• Waitlist emails are kept until you ask us to remove you or the relevant tool ships and the list is no longer needed.
• Support correspondence is kept only as long as reasonably necessary to resolve your issue and maintain support records.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these, email support@greenbarsystems.com and we will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law. You can ask to be removed from any waitlist at any time.

The website and our desktop tools are intended for business and adult use and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the Effective Date above. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
